How do we book you?
I like to come out and meet clients to have a chat about your big day, find out your requirements and answer any questions you might have. From there if you want to proceed, I'll send a booking form for you to complete and it's a £150 deposit to secure your wedding date. The balance is payable 4 weeks before, at which point there is also a shot list and timeline document sent. These two enable me to plan your day, so we get all the group shots you want at the right time.
What happens if something breaks with your camera on our big day?
I'm all about no-stress, so I have backups! I'll just grab one and carry on. It's never fun when it happens, but it's not a show-stopper.
Are you fully insured?
Yes. I am fully insured for both public and professional indemnity.
How far do you travel?
However far I need to! There's obviously a cost to that, and normally my weddings are fairly local. However, if you like what you see but I've got a journey ahead of me - please contact me and we can discuss!
How many photographs will we receive?
There is no precise number. As a rule it's around the 500 mark, for all-day wedding coverage. I obviously take a lot more photos than that but will spend a lot of time removing those which don't come up to standard, and editing the rest to high my high standards for quality.
What's the turnaround time between our wedding date and when we receive our photographs?
During wedding season, it's around 4-6 weeks at a peak. I do often get them done much quicker.
How can we use our photographs? Are there restrictions?
All normal use is absolutely fine - printing, sharing on social media etc. I do retain copyright, so you can't sell them, and any publication will require you to contact me ahead of that publication.
How do you use our photographs?
Your photos are sent to you on USB and also on an online gallery. I may also use them for advertising purposes, for example on this site or on social media.
If you don't want your photographs shared in this way, that's fine - you just need to ask me at booking time and I will amend the contract accordingly.
Do we need to feed you on the wedding day?
Yes please. Most venues have a plan for feeding photographers / videographers during the wedding breakfast. Whilst I'll never argue with a full 3-course meal, it's not a necessity - just enough to keep me going please :-)
